Oaklawn Hospital, a 95-bed facility is located in Marshall, Michigan. Marshall is located in South Central Michigan, 1 ½ hour west of Detroit. This historic community, is known for its 19th century architecture and the Annual Historic Home and Garden Tours. Marshall is a very close knit community and its charming small town atmosphere appeals to young families
The eight-bed Emergency Center services approximately 18,000 patients annually. The department will be expanding this year. A ninth room will be added to the main department and plans have been made for a 5-bed express care unit. The anticipated volume is expected to exceed 20,000 within the next 2 years. We are currently single coverage with twelve hour shifts. An afternoon, mid-level practitioner shift will be added soon. Customer satisfaction and high quality care are priorities at Oaklawn. Our patient satisfaction is 95% and left without being seen is less than 2%.
Other specialty services at Oaklawn Hospital include general medical and surgical care, intensive care, pediatrics, neurology, orthopedics, psychiatry with an 18-bed inpatient psychiatric unit, and OB/GYN with a beautiful LDRP unit.
