The Facility
Opened in 1992, Providence Medical Center–Providence Park is located in the city of Novi, approximately 25 miles west of the city of Detroit. Located on 230 acres, Providence Park is one of the largest outpatient centers in the state. There are over 200 physicians in nearly 40 specialties, a full service emergency department, operating rooms, endoscopy suites, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, pharmacy and a host of specialty care services, ranging from cardiac rehabilitation to physical therapy.
Providence Park is also home to the nationally recognized Assarian Cancer Center which opened in 1998. The center provides a range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for cancer patients and their families, plus a healing center, reflection space and oncology library.
This 20 –bed Emergency Department services approximately 30,000 patients annually and about 1/3 of these patients are pediatrics.
